Your lab report is a page of numbers. VitaVault turns it into a list you can read: every test, its value, its reference range, and a plain-English explanation when you want one.
From paper to plain English
- Scan or uploadOpen Records, choose Labs, and tap +. Scan a paper report with your camera, upload one or more PDFs, or add a result by hand.
- Values pulled out for youVitaVault finds each test name, value, unit and reference range, and picks up the report date. Check them, fix the date if needed, and save.
- Organized by dateEach report date gets a card showing how many tests it has and how many are flagged abnormal.
- Tap for "What does this mean?"Open any result to see your value on a reference range bar, a trend chart once you have more than one reading, and a plain-English explanation.
Stored on your iPhone
Your lab results are saved on your iPhone, and there is no account to create. AI features ask for your consent first and send only what each request needs through our server to Anthropic Claude, with Google Gemini as a backup. We don't keep your health data. Prefer not to use AI for extraction? Decline, and VitaVault reads the values on your iPhone instead (less accurate).
Questions
Can VitaVault read a paper lab report?
Yes. Tap Scan Document and point your camera at the report. The text is read on your iPhone first, then the lab values are pulled out so you can review them before saving.
Can I upload a PDF from my patient portal?
Yes. Save the PDF to Files, then choose Upload PDFs. You can pick several PDFs at once and each one is processed separately.
Is my lab data sent anywhere?
Your saved lab results are stored on your iPhone, and no account is needed. To pull values out of a report or explain a result, VitaVault asks for your consent first, then sends only the text that request needs through our server to Anthropic Claude, with Google Gemini as a backup. We don't keep your health data. If you say no, VitaVault uses a less accurate extraction on your iPhone instead.
Does VitaVault diagnose anything?
No. Explanations are general health education only. Talk to your healthcare provider about what your results mean for you.
How much does it cost?
VitaVault is free to download and includes 10 AI queries in your first month. Premium is a one-time $4.99 purchase with 6 months of AI Insights included (50 a month, resets monthly). AI Insights is also available on its own for $2.99 a month.
